RENOWNED ACTRESSES MARIA CONCHITA ALONSO, DAYANARA TORRES AND SEAN YOUNG TO STAR IN THREE NEW PRIMETIME DRAMA STRIPS FOR MyNetworkTV

Alonso to Top Line "A Dangerous Love," Torres to Star in "Watch over Me" and Young Headlining "Art of Betrayal"

Stars to Make First Public Appearance Together at Daytime Emmy Awards Tomorrow Evening

LOS ANGELES, April 27, 2006 - Multi-talented and globally renowned actresses Maria Conchita Alonso, Dayanara Torres and Sean Young have been cast to star in three new primetime dramas currently in development for MyNetworkTV, the new general entertainment broadcast network launching on Tuesday, September 5th. The three actresses will make their first public appearance together tomorrow evening at the Daytime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles.

The three new eagerly anticipated series, "A Dangerous Love," "Watch over Me" and "Art of Betrayal," will premiere on MyNetworkTV once its inaugural dramas "Desire" and "Secret Obsessions" conclude. Detailed launch dates and time periods will be announced in the future.

Alonso will portray Conchita Olivera in "A Dangerous Love," the story of a fierce rivalry that has been burning for years between two families, the Oliveras and Mazzonis. Tension explodes into tragedy when Roman Mazzoni is falsely accused of murdering one of Conchita's sons. After his release from prison, Roman falls in love with Amelia, Conchita's daughter (and sister of the man he allegedly killed). With both lovers unaware of their shared history until their families realize the connection between the two, will the age old feud keep Roman and Amelia apart? Or will passion keep them together?

Former Miss Universe Torres will star in "Watch over Me," which chronicles a classic love triangle between the beautiful Julia (Torres), her fianc? Sebastian and Jack, the man Sebastian has hired to protect them. While protecting Julia, Jack tries not to let his growing feelings for her cloud his judgment. But when it is discovered Sebastian is engaged in devious business practices that place Julia's life in danger, Jack sacrifices everything to save her.

Young will headline the cast of "Art of Betrayal" in the lead role of Blythe, a woman scorned when her husband Theodore abandons her and their two sons to marry another woman for money. Now, 20 years later, Blythe is implementing her long term and evil scheme devised to ruin Theodore's successful business and to groom her handsome adult sons to exact revenge against her ex-husband by marrying his two daughters. But not everything goes according to Blythe's plan.

In the vein of "Desire" and "Secret Obsessions," "A Dangerous Love," "Watch over Me" and "Art of Betrayal," will each feature a 65-episode story arc of hour-long episodes stripped Monday through Friday over the span of 13 weeks, while a re-cap episode highlighting the programs' previous week's storylines will air every Saturday.

"The excitement surrounding the emerging genre of stripped dramas continues to build as we add 'A Dangerous Love,' 'Watch over Me' and 'Art of Betrayal' to our primetime slate," said Paul Buccieri, president of programming of Twentieth Television. "Maria, Dayanara and Sean each bring a high-level of talent, presence and beauty to these three new arcs and they will embody the gripping nature of their respective dramas."

Recently, Alonso appeared on "Desperate Housewives," where she portrayed Gabrielle's (Eva Longoria) sexy and up-to-no-good mother, Lucia. She has starred on the big screen alongside Hollywood's top actors, including Robert Duvall and Sean Penn in "Colors," Robin Williams in "Moscow on the Hudson," Arnold Schwarzenegger in "Running Man" and Danny Glover and Bill Paxton in "Predator II." Her upcoming feature films include "Material Girls," "ESL" and "El Muerto." Alonso's TV credits include the TBS re-make of the landmark western "High Noon," Showtime's acclaimed series "Resurrection Boulevard" and the NBC miniseries "Kingpin." With three Grammy Award nominations to her credit, Alonso combines her love of film and music, having provided her sultry voice to the theme song for the acclaimed film "Scarface." Alonso, is currently working on her next album.

A native of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Torres is internationally renowned for her beauty and in 1993 was crowned Miss Universe. Most recently, she has had a reoccurring role on the long-running daytime soap opera "The Young and The Restless," as well as served as a correspondent for the entertainment news magazine strip "Access Hollywood." Torres was included in People en Espanol's high-profile 50 Most Beautiful People issues two years in a row and has graced the covers of numerous magazines in the United States and abroad, including such major books as Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire and Latina.

Young started her career as a model and dancer before elevating her performances to the silver screen. Her first film role came in 1980 with a part in"Jane Austen in Manhattan,"followed by the classic Bill Murray comedy"Stripes." Fans became much more familiar with Young after her role in the pioneering sci-fi 1982 film"Blade Runner," starring Harrison Ford and Rutger Hauer.Along the way, she has worked with such legendary directors as Robert Altman, Ridley Scott, Ivan Reitman, Joel Shumacher, David Lynch and Oliver Stone. Young's feature credits also include the thriller "No Way Out," with Kevin Costner and Gene Hackman; "Wall Street," starring Michael Douglas and Charlie Sheen; "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective," along side Jim Carrey;and "Dune."
