Jennifer Turner Named as Vice President, Drama Programming, NBC Universal Television Studio

JENNIFER TURNER NAMED AS VICE PRESIDENT, DRAMA PROGRAMMING, NBC UNIVERSAL TELEVISION STUDIO

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. -� May 8, 2006 -� Jennifer Turner has been named Vice President, Drama Programming, NBC Universal Television Studio, it was announced today by Laura Lancaster, Senior Vice President, Drama and Cable Programming, NBC Universal Television Studio, to whom Turner will report.

"I've known and admired Jennifer's work for years," said Lancaster. "She has fantastic taste and is incredibly hard working and dedicated. Jennifer is smart, passionate and really has a way with talent, writers and producers. We feel so lucky she's joined us at NBC Universal TV Studio."

Turner comes to the studio from the ABC Television Network, where she was Director, Current Programming, and was the current programming executive with creative oversight of hit dramas "Grey's Anatomy" and "Lost" for two seasons, and the first season of "Desperate Housewives".

In her new position, Turner will be responsible for developing new drama series for NBC Universal Television Studio as well as overseeing creative issues on current drama series, including "The Black Donnellys."

As Director of Current Programming at ABC in Burbank, Turner also shepherded such comedies as "Rodney," "My Wife & Kids" and "Complete Savages." Previously, she served as Director, Daytime Programming, where she was the creative executive for West Coast daytime programs, including "General Hospital" and "Port Charles." She also coordinated programming strategies with ABC Daytime sister cable network SOAPnet.

In 2001, Turner joined ABC Cable Networks in Burbank as Business Manager, where she supervised business initiatives for emerging cable networks, such as SOAPnet and Toon Disney.

From 1999-2000, Turner was a co-founding team member of an Internet startup for local merchants in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her responsibilities included managing business development and strategic sales partnerships.

Earlier in her career, Turner worked in the communications, media and technology practice at Booz-Allen & Hamilton, in New York City, in 1999. From 1996-98, she was a financial analyst at Goldman, Sachs & Co., in fixed-income capital markets, also in New York.

Turner received both a bachelor of arts degree in Japanese and a bachelor of science degree in economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She later earned a master of business administration degree from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
