CBS TO PRESENT AN ENCORE PRESENTATION OF SHOWTIME'S CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED NEW DRAMA "BROTHERHOOD," SATURDAY, JULY 15, 10:00-11:00 PM

"Brotherhood" To Air With Limited Commercial Interruption

CBS will present an encore presentation of its sister cable network Showtime's critically acclaimed new drama "Brotherhood," on Saturday, July 15 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT). CBS and Showtime are both divisions of CBS Corporation.

The pilot episode of "Brotherhood," which premiered on Showtime Sunday, July 9, will air on the Network with limited commercial interruption and will carry a TV14-LV parental guideline rating. CBS will air a version of the program edited for Network broadcast.

"This is just one example of how content divisions in our company can work together to complement and support each other's efforts," said Leslie Moonves, President and Chief Executive Officer, CBS Corporation. "The CBS Television Network provides an unparalleled platform to expose this critically acclaimed new Showtime drama to new viewers on a large scale."

"We're extraordinarily proud of 'Brotherhood' and we want to showcase it to the most viewers and potential Showtime subscribers possible," said Matthew C. Blank, Chairman and CEO of Showtime Networks. "Airing the pilot episode on CBS is not only the best way to do that, it's a great vote of confidence from our new parent corporation."

"Brotherhood," set in a fictional Irish neighborhood in Providence, R.I. known as "The Hill," depicts the underlying bond between brothers who are torn between their fierce loyalty to each other and their family, as well as their ambition for power and control on opposing sides of the law.

"Brotherhood" centers around the Caffee brothers who, despite being on opposite sides of the law, are determined to protect the neighborhood and what is theirs by whatever means necessary. The series stars Jason Isaacs ("The Patriot," "Harry Potter" films) as Michael Caffee, the gangster who returns to "The Hill" after seven years on the lam, and Jason Clarke ("Rabbit Proof Fence") as Tommy Caffee, the backroom-dealing local politician.

Shot entirely in Providence and its outskirts, the one-hour series also stars Annabeth Gish ("The West Wing") as Tommy's loving, yet troubled, wife Eileen; Fionnula Flanagan ("The Others") as the brothers' mother, Rose; Ethan Embry ("Sweet Home Alabama") as a state policeman close on Michael's trail; and Kevin Chapman ("Mystic River") as the ruthless crime boss.

Blake Masters, Henry Bromell and Elizabeth Guber Stephen are executive producers for Mandalay Television. Nicole Yorkin, Dawn Prestwich and Phillip Noyce are co-executive executive producers.

CBS Corporation (NYSE: CBS.A and CBS) is a mass media company with constituent parts that reach back to the beginnings of the broadcast industry, as well as newer businesses that operate on the leading edge of the media industry. The Company, through its many and varied operations, combines broad reach with well-positioned local businesses, all of which provide it with an extensive distribution network by which it serves audiences and advertisers in all 50 states and key international markets. It has operations in virtually every field of media and entertainment, including broadcast television (CBS and UPN), cable television (Showtime and CSTV Networks), local television (CBS Television Stations), television production and syndication (CBS Paramount Television and King World), radio (CBS Radio), advertising on out-of-home media (CBS Outdoor), publishing (Simon & Schuster), digital media (CBS Digital Media Group and CSTV Networks) and consumer products (CBS Consumer Products). In Fall 2006, UPN will cease operations and The CW, a new fifth broadcast television network, will launch as a joint venture between CBS Corporation and Warner Bros. Entertainment.
