Actor Skeet Ulrich, star of CBS' new fall drama series JERICHO, is slated to attend the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series Sony HD 500 at California Speedway in Fontana, Calif. on Sunday, Sept. 3. Ulrich, the stepson of retired NASCAR driver D.K. Ulrich and the nephew of retired NASCAR driver and Virginia Motor Sports Hall of Famer Ricky "Ironman" Rudd, will be on hand to attend the drivers' meeting, visit the speedway's FanZone and tour the garage area.

Ulrich's television credits include the critically acclaimed series "Miracles" and the movie "The Magic of Ordinary Days" on the Network. He also starred in the Emmy Award-nominated cable mini-series "Into the West." Ulrich's feature film credits include "As Good As It Gets," "The Newton Boys," "Scream," "The Craft," "Nobody's Baby," "Albino Gator," and "Chill Factor."

JERICHO, premiering Wednesday, Sept. 20 (8:00-9:00 PM) on the CBS Television Network, is a drama about what happens when a nuclear mushroom cloud suddenly appears on the horizon, plunging the residents of a small, peaceful Kansas town into chaos, leaving them completely isolated and wondering if they're the only Americans left alive. Fear of the unknown propels Jericho into social, psychological and physical mayhem when all communication and power is shut down. The town starts to come apart at the seams as terror, anger and confusion bring out the very worst in some residents. In this time of crisis, as sensible people become paranoid, personal agendas take over and well-kept secrets threaten to be revealed, some people will find an inner strength they never knew they had and the most unlikely heroes will emerge.

JERICHO also stars Gerald McRaney ("Major Dad"), Ashley Scott ("Dark Angel," "Birds of Prey"), Pamela Reed, ("Proof of Life"), Kenneth Mitchell ("Miracle"), Lennie James ("Sahara"), Sprague Graydon ("Six feet Under," "Joan of Arcadia"), Michael Gaston ("Prison Break"), Erik Knudsen ("Saw II"), Brad Beyer ("Third Watch") and Shoshanna Stern ("Weeds"). Jon Turteltaub ("National Treasure"), Stephen Chbosky ("Rent") and Carol Barbee ("Judging Amy") are executive producers for CBS Paramount Network Television.
