JAMES IS BLIND-SIDED WHEN HE IS DECEIVED BY HIS OWN ALLIANCE

James Becomes the Eighth Houseguest Evicted From the BIG BROTHER: ALL-STARS House and the Third Juror to Be Sequestered

Erika Landin Wins Head Of Household

Julie Chen Announces the First Ever Live Double Eviction in Big Brother History Will Take Place on Thursday, Aug. 31 on the CBS Television Network

LOS ANGELES -- Untrustworthy James Rhine (BB6) was knocked-off of his pedestal last night when he was deceived by his own alliance, the Legion of Doom. With his Legion allies in power, James was shocked when he became the eighth All-Star to be evicted from the house during last night's broadcast by a vote of 3-1 by his fellow Houseguests (the two nominees do not vote and the Head of Household only votes in the event of a tie).

On Tuesday, Janelle Pierzina won the Power of Veto and took herself off of the chopping block. James was left up for eviction and Mike "Boogie" Malin nominated "Chicken" George to join him. Despite his nomination, James felt confident he was sitting pretty with his alliance ruling the house.

During last night's broadcast, a surprised James Rhine, 30, originally from Miami and currently residing in Chicago, learned his fate, said his goodbyes and left the house. After leaving BIG BROTHER: ALL-STARS, James was interviewed by host Julie Chen about his experience in the house. He became the third jury member.

After last night's eviction, the houseguests competed in a competition called "But First" to see who would become the next Head of Household. Erika Landin (BB4) won Head of Household. Also last night, Julie Chen announced that what normally plays out in one week, will play out in one hour, with the first ever live HOH, veto competition, nominations, veto meeting and double eviction taking place all in one hour of television on Thursday. Aug. 31 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
