BRAVO ANNOUNCES 'PROJECT RUNWAY' REUNION SPECIAL; PREMIERES ON WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 4 AT 10 PM, ET/PT

TWO-PART SEASON FINALE KICKS OFF ON WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 11 AND CONCLUDES ON WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 18

WINNER OF PROJECT RUNWAY "FAN FAVORITE AWARD COMPETITION" TO BE ANNOUNCED DURING REUNION SPECIAL

NEW YORK - September 6, 2006 - "Project Runway" fans are marking their calendars for the highly-anticipated reunion special and two-part season finale. On Wednesday, October 4, Bravo will premiere the one-hour reunion special from 10-11 PM ET/PT, and the two-part season finale will air over two weeks, beginning on Wednesday, October 11, 10-11 PM ET/PT and concluding with the winner being announced on Wednesday, October 18, 10-11 PM ET/PT. The announcement was made today by Frances Berwick, Executive Vice President, Programming and Production, Bravo.

"For the first time, we gave our loyal 'Project Runway' fans a summer season and the response has been astounding, resulting in the highest ratings for any Bravo broadcast ever. This show has truly connected with Bravo viewers like no other," said Berwick. "The reunion special and finale promise to be exciting, dramatic and as always unpredictable."

On Wednesday, October 4, 10-11 PM ET/PT, the designers will join host Heidi Klum and mentor Tim Gunn to reunite, reminisce and rehash the good, the bad and the unexpected from season three. The reunion special will feature never-before-seen interviews with the cast reacting to their experiences during the course of the challenges, as well as their personal reactions as they watch the series on television. Designers will share their thoughts on how the series has impacted their careers and lives and reveal their picks for the winner. Viewers will also see exclusive clips that didn't make the final cut. In addition, the winner of Bravo's first-ever "Fan Favorite Award Competition" will be announced during the reunion special. For the first time, "Project Runway" fans have been given the opportunity to pick their favorite designer. Choosing from any of the original 15 designers, fans can vote for their favorite by texting the designer's name to 62288* or by logging on to www.bravotv.com/projectrunway. The "Fan Favorite Award Competition", which launched on August 30th and ends on September 12 at 9 AM ET, will award the designer with the most votes $10,000 and the honor of being the "Project Runway" Season 3 "Fan Favorite."

In part one of the season finale, on Wednesday, October 11, 10-11 PM ET/PT, viewers will watch as the final designers return home to begin work on their lines, which they will unveil at Olympus Fashion Week in New York. As in seasons past, guru Tim Gunn hits the road to visit with each finalist at home, meeting their families and getting insight into their personal lives. Tim also offers guidance on "making it work," as each designer shows the progress made on their collections and describes the inspiration behind the lines.

Part two of the season finale on Wednesday, October 18, 10-11 PM ET/PT, will have all finalists face-off in a runway show before the world's fashion elite at NYC's Olympus Fashion Week, presenting their lines before the judges, the media, and an audience of industry luminaries. Immediately after the show, the finalists will return to Parsons to hear what the judges have to say and who Heidi says is ultimately "in." At the end, the winner of "Project Runway" will be named, and become the newest member of the elite class of talented designers who has risen to the top of the ranks of this national design competition. The winning designer will walk away with $100,000 in seed money from TRESemm to help launch his or her own line, a spread in ELLE magazine, a 2007 Saturn Sky Roadster and a mentorship with Macy's I.N.C. International Concepts.

"Project Runway" is executive produced by Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz of Magical Elves ("Project Greenlight," "Last Comic Standing"). Heidi Klum and her managers Desiree Gruber and Jane Cha of NYC-based Full Picture also executive produce the series. Barbara Schneeweiss oversaw the production on behalf of Miramax Television and The Weinstein Company.
