Heather Locklear and Johnathon Schaech to Star in 'Angels Fall,' Third of Four Nora Roberts Best-Selling Novels Adapted Into Lifetime Original Movies Airing in February 2007

Mandalay Television and Stephanie Germain Productions Executive Produce

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 4 -- Heather Locklear ("Spin City," "Melrose Place") and Johnathon Schaech ("That Thing You Do!") will star in the upcoming Lifetime Original Movie "Angels Fall," based on popular author Nora Roberts' most recent #1 New York Times best-seller, it was announced today by Libby Beers, Vice President, Original Movies. "Angels Fall" tells the story of a woman who is the sole survivor of a restaurant massacre, now trying to rebuild her life, only to find herself in the middle of a murder mystery once again. "Angels Fall" will premiere in February 2007 on Lifetime Television.

"We think the popularity of Heather Locklear and Johnathon Schaech and the success Nora Roberts' has had with Angels Fall is a winning combination. We're excited to have these two gifted actors on Lifetime, and look forward to a movie audiences are sure to enjoy," said Beers.

Peter Guber, Stephanie Germain and Peter Strauss are the executive producers of "Angels Fall." Principal photography has been completed on the following Lifetime movies based on Nora Roberts books including: "Carolina Moon" starring Claire Forlani, Oliver Hudson and Jacqueline Bisset, and on "Montana Sky" starring John Corbett, Ashley Williams, Charlotte Ross and Diane Ladd. "Blue Smoke" is the last Nora Roberts film currently in pre-production, also airing in February 2007.

In "Angels Fall," Reece Gilmore (Locklear) has been aimlessly driving cross-country, slowly putting her life back together after a traumatic incident at the Boston restaurant where she worked. When her car breaks down in a picturesque Wyoming town, she takes a job in a local diner intending to earn just enough money to move on.

As she gets to know the residents of the town, including the handsome, mysterious Brody (Schaech), she begins to feel that she may have found a safe place to call home. However, just as Reece is starting to feel comfortable, she believes she witnesses a murder. The police can find no evidence to validate her story and immediately afterward, strange events begin to occur that make Reece question her own sanity and fear for her safety.

Best known for creating some of television's most memorable characters, four-time Golden Globe nominee Heather Locklear has enjoyed a prolific career in both television and film. In 2005, Locklear starred with Hilary Duff and Chris Noth in Universal's "The Perfect Man." Recently she was featured in MGM's "Uptown Girls" and in Warner Bros.' "Looney Tunes: Back in Action." Locklear's television credits include "Spin City," "Melrose Place," "Dynasty," "T.J. Hooker," the HBO thriller "Double Tap," the NBC telefilm "Shattered Mind," and the ABC miniseries "Texas Justice." Locklear began her acting career while attending UCLA.

Locklear is repped by ICM, Marc Gurvitz and attorney Jerry Edelstein.

Johnathon Schaech was most recently seen in "Roadhouse 2: Last Call." He just completed production on the feature film "The Living Hell" and will next be seen in the independent features "Little Chenier" and "Sea of Dreams." His other film credits include "That Thing You Do!," "Hush," "Finding Graceland," "How to Make an American Quilt," "Poison Ivy II," "The Forsaken," "The Webbers," "The Doom Generation" and "Splendor." Schaech guest-starred in the television series "Models, Inc." and "Time of Your Life." He also starred in TNT's original biopic "Houdini."

Schaech is repped by The Gersh Agency, manager Eli Selden of Anonymous Content and attorney Jason Hendler at Hanson, Jacobson, Teller, Hoberman, Newman, Warren, and Richman, LLP.

Since publishing her first novel in 1981, Roberts has gone on to become a #1 New York Times best-selling sensation. With more than 295 million books in print, Roberts' novels have spent a combined 102 weeks at the #1 spot on the coveted New York Times best-seller list. Angels Fall was published by Penguin Putnam in July, debuted at #1 on the list and spent two weeks in the top position.

"Angels Fall" is produced by Mandalay Television and Stephanie Germain Productions for Lifetime Television. Peter Guber ("Rainman," "Batman," "The Color Purple," "The Jacket"), Stephanie Germain (Lifetime's "Gracie's Choice," "The Day After Tomorrow") and Peter Strauss ("The Jacket") are the executive producers.
