NBC DOES THE MATH BY ADDING 10 ADDITIONAL EPISODES OF ITS HOT NEW GAME SHOW '1 VS 100'

BURBANK, Calif. October 19, 2006 - Friday the 13th proved to be a lucky day for the premiere of NBC's newest hit game show import "1 vs 100" as the network announced it has ordered 10 additional episodes of the series from Endemol USA, bringing its total episode order to 15. The announcement was made today by Craig Plestis, Senior Vice President, Alternative and West Coast Specials Programming and Development, NBC Entertainment.

" '1 vs 100' grabbed the public's attention when it delivered solid ratings last Friday and staked out its own identity to become a great extension of our game-show franchise," said Plestis. "Our partners at Endemol have produced another high-quality series. This was an 'odds-on' easy decision."

"Our strategy to develop and sell new game shows in the wake of 'Deal or No Deal's' success is paying off," said David Goldberg, President of Endemol USA.

Hosted by Bob Saget ("Full House," "America's Funniest Home Videos"), "1 vs 100's" premiere on Friday, October 13 scored a 4.2 rating, 13 share in adults 18-49 with 12.8 million viewers overall, making it the highest 18-49 rating for any non-sports Friday telecast on any network since January 28, 2005 and the highest overall viewer total for any Friday telecast on any network since April 7, 2006. "1 vs 100" was NBC's highest non-Olympic 18-49 rating in the time period since December 27, 2002 ("Dateline NBC") and, in total viewers, NBC's biggest audience in the time period, excluding Olympics, since March 19, 2004 ("Dateline NBC").

The series will air this Friday, October 20 from 9-10 p.m. following an all-new episode of "Deal or No Deal," and will then move to its regular time-slot, Fridays (8-9 p.m.), beginning on Friday, October 27, leading into the anticipated season premiere of "Las Vegas."

"1 vs 100" is a tense battle of brains and guts as one player must outlast a mob of 100 people for a chance to win up to $1 million. To stay in the game, the player must answer trivia questions and get every one right -- wrong answers from the mob eliminates them from the game, driving up the cash prize for the player. If the player can eliminate all 100 members of the mob, they'll go home with the $1 million top prize. However, if the player gets one answer wrong, the game is over and "the mob" will split the player's winnings up to that point.

Adding a live interactive element to the game show each night, viewers at home also have a chance to win $10,000 by playing the "You vs. the Mob" on their cell phones or by logging onto the "1 vs 100" website at www.nbc.com/1vs100.

"1 vs 100" is an international hit in the United Kingdom, Sweden, Belgium, Holland (where it originated), Germany, Argentina and Portugal.

The series is produced by Endemol USA, a division of Endemol Holding. David Goldberg is the president of Endemol USA. Scott St. John is the executive producer.
