THE ABC TELEVISION NETWORK ADDS TWO NEW AFFILIATES
The ABC Television Network has entered into agreements with two new affiliates in Lima, Ohio, and Bend, Oregon, it was announced today by John Rouse, senior vice president of Affiliate Relations for ABC. The two new stations are WLQP in Lima, Ohio and KOHD in Bend, Oregon. The agreement with both stations is effective immediately.
WLQP-TV, based in Lima, Ohio, is owned by Metro Video Productions. Gregory Phipps is the president of WLQP, which was previously a UPN affiliate.
KOHD is operated by Chambers Communications and is a new television station serving the Bend, Oregon area. Scott Chambers is the president of Chambers Communications.
In making the announcement, John Rouse said: �We are pleased to expand ABC�s coverage in Oregon and Ohio. KOHD and WLQP will help us secure local relationships in both Bend and Lima.�

With the addition of these stations, ABC now has 228 affiliates, which includes 10 owned stations.
