Season Two of Producer Jerry Bruckheimers Multiple Emmy and Golden Globe Award Winning Series Without a Trace Comes to DVD March 13, 2007 from Warner Home Video

Without a Trace: The Complete Second Season Will Feature 24 Episodes on Six Discs and Bonus Material

BURBANK, Calif. -- Warner Home Video (WHV) will bring the second season of Without a Trace, the powerful, Emmy Award-winning investigative drama to DVD March 13. Without a Trace: The Complete Second Season will retail for $59.98 and will contain all 24 episodes from the shows second season as well as bonus deleted scenes.

Executive produced by prolific television and film producer Jerry Bruckheimer (CSI, CSI: Miami, Pearl Harbor, Pirates of the Caribbean), Without a Trace is the gripping and fast-paced series that focuses on the Missing Persons Squad of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. By applying advanced psychological profiling techniques, the special task force is able to peel back the layers of the victims lives and trace their whereabouts in order to determine if the missing person has been abducted, murdered, committed suicide or has simply run away. The team reconstructs a Day of Disappearance timeline that details every minute of the 24 hours prior to the disappearance, following one simple rule: learn who the victim is in order to learn where the victim is.

The shows talented ensemble cast includes Anthony LaPaglia, who earned a Golden Globe Award for his role as senior agent Jack Malone. Malone heads the dedicated team that knows too well that every second counts when someone vanishes. His squad includes Samantha Spade (Poppy Montgomery), an agent whose good looks belie a tough, complex approach to her work; Vivian Johnson (Marianne Jean-Baptiste), a no-nonsense investigator; Danny Taylor (Enrique Murciano) an intense and private agent; and Martin Fitzgerald (Eric Close), the newest member of the team, considered a lightweight by the squad because his only experience involves fighting white-collar crime.

The second season of Without a Trace follows the team as they continue to track down missing persons, while Malone and his wife divorce and fight for the custody of their children. At the same time Malone also cares for his father (Martin Landau) who has Alzheimers disease.

Without a Trace won two Emmy Awards during its debut season and a Golden Globe Award in 2004.

Now airing its fifth season, Without a Trace is a top rated show which ranks in the top 10 for dramas on television season-to-date.

Regarding the announcement, Rosemary Markson, WHV Vice President, TV Marketing said, Anyone who appreciates a great mystery will enjoy Without a Trace. It is an intelligent, absorbing show with clever plot twists and a fantastic cast. The storylines deal with thought provoking issues and the acting performances are superb. What makes this show truly unique is how it carefully balances its focus between the cases and the personal lives of its agents. She added, We think followers of this top-rated series will want to add this DVD to their collection.
