LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- FOX is staying married to "'Til Death" for another season while six pilots - three dramas and three comedies - have been issued series orders.
"Death's" second season renewal had been widely expected after its post-"American Idol" boost last month.
As for the network's freshman class for 2007-08, the dramas include "Sarah Connor Chronicles," a small screen take on the "Terminator" film franchise set between the last two films with "300's" Lena Headey in the title role; "New Amsterdam," about a 400-year-old cop (Nikolaj Coster Waldau) cursed with immortality until he finds true love; and "K-Ville," a police procedural set in post-Katrina New Orleans starring Anthony Anderson and Cole Hauser.
On the comedy side, Amy Sherman-Palladino's "The Return of Jezebel James," the Farrelly brothers' "Rules for Starting Over" and the Kelsey Grammer/Patricia Heaton-led "Back to You" have all been given the go ahead.
As always, full details about each of the newcomers can be found using the links to the right.
