Two-Hour Entertainment Special Will Include Artist Stories Behind The GRAMMY Moments
MY NIGHT AT THE GRAMMYS, a new entertainment special, will present the top 25 GRAMMY Awards show moments of all time, as voted on by viewers, as well as the stories behind them as told by the artists themselves, to be broadcast Friday, Nov. 30 (8:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. The special will celebrate the GRAMMY Awards upcoming 50th Anniversary.
GRAMMY Awards show history will be revealed as artists tell their personal stories of what it means to perform on the television show that has become Music's Biggest Night. Rare footage of GRAMMY rehearsals as well as reminiscences by performers will give a behind-the-scenes look at how the show is conceived and performed.
Starting today, viewers have the chance to be part of this historical special by voting for their favorite GRAMMY moments at http://www.mynightatthegrammys.com/. Fifty great GRAMMY moments from past broadcasts will be selected by The Recording Academy and posted to the site including performances by Prince and Beyonc�, Eminem and Elton John, Neil Diamond and Barbra Streisand, as well as Bruce Springsteen, U2 and the Simon & Garfunkel reunion. A one-minute clip of each of these memorable moments will be available in a Flash "Video Wall" on http://www.mynightatthegrammys.com/ and users can click on each clip to view on demand. Once clips have been viewed, users can vote for up to five of their favorite moments. The 25 performances that receive the most votes will be seen on MY NIGHT AT THE GRAMMYS, culminating with the most popular performance of all time as voted on by viewers.
