CMT Transforms Former Cheerleaders Back Into Fighting Shape As They Compete For $50,000 and A Return to Glory

NASHVILLE � September 26, 2007 � With the help of Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders' trainer, Jay Johnson, CMT challenges ten former cheerleaders to restore their physique and confidence in the new eight-episode makeover series, I WANT TO LOOK LIKE A HIGH SCHOOL CHEERLEADER AGAIN, premiering Saturday, October 6 at 8:30 p.m. � 9:30 p.m., ET/PT on CMT.

For ten weeks, Johnson and his wife Lin, along with host Jenn Brown, work to revive the athletic prowess of ten former high school cheerleaders and transform their lives with the help of a tough Army-style fitness regimen. Contestants will be challenged physically and emotionally as they vie to shed pounds, tone their bodies and fit back into their high school uniform. The three finalists will participate in a high school pep rally where they will be reunited with their families and loved ones for the first time in more than two months. The a final winner receives a $50,000 prize and a home gym.

The cast features ten women from across the country:

- Jamie � Personal trainer from Chicago, Ill.

- Lisa � Interior designer from Orange County, Calif.

- Randi � Commercial model and talent agent from Warrenville, Ill.

- Shameika � Former television news producer from Asheville, NC

- Stephanie � Artist and salesperson from San Jose, Calif.

Jay Johnson, featured in Muscle and Fitness magazine, "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy," "Wife Swap," Bloomberg News, ABC's Evening News, "Judge Hatchett," HBO's "Hard Knocks" and more, is one of the nation's foremost leaders in fitness and motivation. His no-nonsense approach defined by working hard, has perfected his profession with his brief stint as a U.S. Army boot camp drill instructor, and more than 20 years of serving as a combat infantryman. Jay and his wife, Lin, formed Boot Camp Fitness 2001, developing a loyal following of fitness buffs and babies. Johnson is the official trainer of the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders and holds one of the Top 50 best jobs in the nation, according to Men's Journal.

Host Jenn Brown has hosted more than 50 television shows, covering exclusive events ranging from the Sundance Film Festival to The Super Bowl. Brown also works as a producer and host for Bennett Productions in Los Angeles.
