CLIFF WAGNER AND THE OLD #7 ARE ELIMINATED FROM THE COMPETITION ON "THE NEXT GREAT AMERICAN BAND"

ONE MORE BAND WILL GO HOME AND THE TOP 5 BANDS PERFORM ROD STEWART SONGS FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 30, ON FOX

The competition narrowed tonight on THE NEXT GREAT AMERICAN BAND as Cliff Wagner and The Old #7 were eliminated from the competition. Cliff Wagner and The Old #7 is a Bluegrass band from San Pedro, CA. The remaining Top 6 bands each performed a Mick Jagger/Keith Richards song on tonight's show.

Next week, one more band will be eliminated based on tonight's voting results, and the Top 5 bands will perform a Rod Stewart song in front of a live studio audience on THE NEXT GREAT AMERICAN BAND Friday, Nov. 30 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Stewart became a household name in 1971 after his album "Every Picture Tells a Story" featuring "Maggie May" hit the airwaves. The album and the single were a chart first, holiding the No. 1 spot in both the United States and the United Kingdom simultaneously. His other hit songs include "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy," "Tonight's the Night," "You're In My Heart," "The First Cut is the Deepest" and "Downtown Train." In recent years, Stewart has released his multi-platinum, chart-topping, Grammy Award-winning "Great American Songbook" collection.
