Oxygen Stretches Its Reach to Viewers Under the NBC Universal Umbrella
The cable channel has added 180,000 subscribers to its portfolio since NBC Universal acquired the network in November 2007.

OXYGEN STRETCHES ITS REACH TO VIEWERS UNDER THE NBC UNIVERSAL UMBRELLA

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J.- December 10, 2007- Oxygen, one of the nation's leading female-focused cable television networks has added 180,000 subscribers to its portfolio since NBC Universal acquired the network in November 2007. Comcast, Telecom Cable, Bend Broadband, and Buckeye Cablevision are slated to launch Oxygen by the New Year, January 2008. The network, now part of NBC Universal, is currently available to nearly 74 million homes. The announcement was made today by Bridget Baker, President, TV Networks Distribution, NBC Universal.

"I'm excited to announce these cable system launches," said Bridget Baker, President, TV Networks Distribution, NBC Universal. "It is our priority to drive Oxygen's growth in the marketplace and to support our distribution partners who recognize the value of cutting-edge women's entertainment."

Systems launching Oxygen by January 2008 include:

-Comcast (Chattanooga, TN)

-Telecom Cable (Fulshear, TX)

-Bend Broadband (Bend, OR)

-Buckeye Cablevision (Toledo, OH)
