The State Within

When a flight headed for the UK explodes during take off from Washington DC, America believes it may be, once again, under a terrorist attack. Later that day, as both countries struggle to come to terms with the disaster, a diplomatic catastrophe envelops the British Embassy in Washington involving both the British Ambassador, Sir Mark Brydon (Jason Isaacs) and U.S. Secretary of Defense, Lynne Warner (Sharon Gless). The State Within is written by Lizzie Mickery and Daniel Percival. It is a BBC/BBC AMERICA co-production which premiered on BBC AMERICA in February 2007.

Jekyll.

One of the oldest and best stories ever told begins again. In London, an ancient monster, one that terrified, thrilled and titillated the world for over a hundred years, is preparing to return. Jekyll, described by writer Steven Moffat as "somewhere between a modern horror story and The Odd Couple," stars James Nesbitt in the title role. Tom Jackman is a contemporary man with an ancient curse Mr. Hyde. But he keeps his dark side in check with the very latest surveillance hardware. Just barely keeping one step ahead of his alter-ego, Dr. Jackman has managed to keep his wife and two kids a secret from the vicious Hyde. But what neither of them knows is that an organization with limitless wealth and power is monitoring their every move. Jekyll is a Hartswood Films production in association with Stagescreen Productions for BBC and BBC America. It first aired on BBC AMERICA in August 2007.
