Finalists Kherington Payne and Gev Manoukian were eliminated tonight on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE. Payne, 18, is a Contemporary/Jazz dancer from Placentia, CA, and Manoukian, 21, is a Hip-Hop/Break dancer from Centerville, UT.
Next week, the Top 8 dancers (Joshua Allen, Twitch Boss, Courtney Galiano, Chelsie Hightower, Mark Kanemura, Jessica King, Katee Shean and Will Wingfield) are paired with new dance partners and compete as new couples on the two-hour performance show Wednesday, July 23 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
Although the judges will still critique the dancers, only America's votes will determine who continues their quest to become America's favorite dancer. The male and female dancers who receive the least of America's votes will be eliminated from the competition.
LL Cool J featuring The-Dream will perform their single "Baby," and two more dancers will go home on the live results show Thursday, July 24 (9:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed).
