LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- Discovery has yanked "Adrenaline Rush Hour" while sister channel TLC has benched fellow newcomers "Heli-loggers" and "Real Estate Road Test."
"Hour," a self-described "collection of shocking explosions, incredible rescues, outrageous antics, and stunts gone bad," was pulled after its February 13 broadcast. Encores of the recently launched "American Loggers" will fill Discovery's Friday, 9:00/8:00c slot starting this week, leading into new episodes at 10:00/9:00c. 10 episodes of "Hour" still have yet to air.
Meanwhile, TLC's "Heli-loggers" is out effective this week. Various specials will assume the show's Thursday, 10:00/9:00c time period. The series, about loggers in Northern British Columbia, bowed on February 5. Six of its 10 completed episodes remain on the shelf.
And finally, Saturday entry "Road Test" is also out after four episodes. TLC will instead go with back-to-back episodes of "Deals on the Bus" starting at 10:00/9:00c. Two installments ("The Pastores" and "The Kemps") of "Test" likewise remain unaired. Doug Wilson hosts the series, in which families spend 24 hours "road testing" potential homes.
No specific reasons for the aforementioned changes were given.
