On October 17, Courtney Thorne-Smith and Faith Ford Pledge to Go Greek in Lifetime's All-New Original Movie 'Sorority Wars'

LUCY HALE Co-Stars in Film Directed by JAMES HAYMAN and Written by MICHELLE LOVRETTA

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 14 -- Head back to campus, and join the "rush" with Lifetime's Original Movie Sorority Wars, starring Courtney Thorne-Smith (According to Jim), Faith Ford (Hope & Faith) and Lucy Hale (Privileged). The story follows Katie (Hale), a college freshman who has been groomed from birth to continue her mother's (Thorne-Smith) legacy by joining the Delta house. An all out sorority war begins when Katie has doubts about the Deltas and decides to pledge its rival, the Kappas. The Lifetime Original Movie Sorority Wars premieres on Saturday, October 17, 2009, at 9 pm (ET/PT).

ABOUT SORORITY WARS

Class is in session, the "rush" is on, and it's time to pick a sorority house. This should be easy for college freshman Katie Snow (Hale), especially since her mother, Lutie (Thorne-Smith), and her best friend, Summer (Ford), were the founders of the popular Delta house. But, when Katie meets the infamous Delta girls, known for their wild parties and hot boyfriends, she begins to have second thoughts - and it's the final straw when she finds herself at the center of their "dirty rush" scandal. Katie becomes the target of the Delta's vengeance - and her mother's disappointment - when she shocks her friends and family by pledging their rivals, the Kappas. Soon, a full-fledged sorority war breaks out on campus, creating a fight-to-the-finish competition that leaves only one question: who will come out on top?

ABOUT THE PRODUCTION

Sorority Wars is produced by von Zerneck/Sertner Films in association with Patricia Clifford Productions and RHI Entertainment for Lifetime Television. Patricia Clifford (Lifetime's The Secret Life of Zoey, The Elizabeth Smart Story), Robert M.
