TLC TIES THE KNOT WITH NEW SERIES "WEDDED TO PERFECTION"

RSVP OCTOBER 2nd AT 10PM

Jung Lee and Josh Brooks, married couple and owners of Fete, bring viewers to the party

Los Angeles, CA TLC will premiere new series WEDDED TO PERFECTION on October 2nd at 10PM. The series announcement comes after the show premiered earlier this summer as a special and following its success, has been picked up to series. WEDDED TO PERFECTION will follow the charismatic husband and wife team, Jung Lee and Josh Brooks, who together own New York's premiere wedding and event planning business, Fete. Six episodes of the hour long series have been ordered and will premiere only on TLC.

Each episode will feature two events, anything from a spectacular wedding to a memorable anniversary party. The stakes and budgets are high, so the pressure to deliver a picture perfect event is on. Jung and Josh are responsible for everything from location, to flowers, to invites, every detail, big or small. The icing on the cake is that not only are Josh and Jung business owners, but real life married couple as well who have to harmonize both in life and work which is difficult with Jung's perfectionist ways and Josh's mild temper. Will Josh and Jung be able to consistently make the dreams of their clients a reality, while at the same time juggling married and family life?

"Josh and Jung not only compliment each other but WEDDED TO PERFECTION is a perfect addition to our event and wedding slate of programming," says TLC SVP Production and Development, Nancy Daniels. "The series is a great fit for TLC because it has a balance of high-end eye candy for viewers, but also relatability, with Josh and Jung balancing work life and personal life."

"We are thrilled to be working with TLC and we are excited for people to see what we do, and more importantly, how we do it," said Lee and Brooks. "We are in the business of making dreams come true and we are eager to take viewers not only into our world, but into our lives as well."

The series is produced for TLC by Peacock Productions. Sharon Scott is the Executive in Charge and the Executive Producers are Aretha Marshall, Benjamin Ringe, and Knute Walker. Showrunner and Executive Producer Cristin Cricco-Powell.
