FRIENDS TO DIE FOR

'BURN NOTICE' STAR GABRIELLE ANWAR AND 'ONE TREE HILL' STAR CRAIG SHEFFER STAR IN 'LIES BETWEEN FRIENDS' A HALLMARK CHANNEL IN HD ORIGINAL MOVIE PREMIERING APRIL 10

When seven college friends reunite a decade after graduation for a weekend getaway, one of the women is found murdered, and long-buried secrets must be dug up in "Lies Between Friends," a Hallmark Channel in HD Original Movie, premiering Saturday, April 10 (9p.m. ET/PT, 8C). Gemini Award nominee Gabrielle Anwar ("Burn Notice") and Craig Sheffer ("One Tree Hill") star in the story about what happens when the lies friends tell to protect each other are revealed. Following the premiere, the film encores Saturday, April 10 (11p.m. ET/PT, 10C), Sunday, April 11 (1a.m. ET/PT, 12C and 9p.m. ET/PT, 8C), Friday, April 16 (9p.m. ET/PT, 8C) and Saturday, April 17 (3p.m. ET/PT, 2C).

Art authenticator Joss Jenner (Anwar) joins six college girlfriends at a bed and breakfast for a bridal shower weekend. Many of them have grown apart over the years since they graduated, especially Joss and her freshman year roommate, Cait Randall (Thea Gill, "Queer as Folk"), a beautiful "B" movie actress. As the guests settle in for a weekend of good food, wine, and party games, Cait begs Joss to sit down and have a discussion about an unresolved dispute from their past, where she promises to "reveal everything." Joss, who believes her college boyfriend, Eric, cheated on her with Cait, reluctantly agrees to hear her out. The wounds of betrayal still remain, even though Eric died many years ago in a motorcycle accident.

Before Cait can explain, though, Joss finds her dead, apparently pushed off the roof. What at first looks to be an accident is instead presumed to be a murder, and soon everyone is a suspect. Sheriff Zack Watts (Sheffer) arrives to investigate, and Joss is eager to help solve the crime and uncover the secret that Cait never got a chance to tell her. She becomes fixated on the case, and soon discovers that everyone involved has a past secret.

"Lies Between Friends" is a Front Street Pictures production. Joe Lawlor and Laurie Goldstein are the executive producers. Harvey Kahn is the producer. Walter Klenhard is the writer and director.
