LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- Alex O'Loughlin is returning to CBS a few months early.
And while "Hawaii Five-O" won't launch until the fall, "Three Rivers" - the actor's last project for the Eye - is returning Saturday, June 5 at 8:00/7:00c.
The episode, "Win-Loss," is the first of five installments of the series that have been sitting on the shelf. "Rivers," which hasn't aired since November 22 of last year, got the axe back in January.
The above is in addition to "Moonlight," O'Loughlin's first series for the network, which is getting an encore showcase on sibling netlet The CW starting Thursday, June 3 at 9:00/8:00c.
The "Rivers" originals join "Flashpoint" and "Miami Medical" (read the story) as the latest supplement to CBS's summer plans. The network is expected to announce its full lineup this week, including time periods for its "Big Brother" franchise - due back on July 8.
