LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- Syfy will continue its reality push on Thursday nights this fall.
Network sources have confirmed season four of "Destination Truth" will launch Thursday, September 9 at 9:00/8:00c followed by newcomer "Beast Legends" at 10:00/9:00c.
"Legends" is billed as an "investigative adventure series" in which "we join a globetrotting animal doctor, a Harvard professor of evolutionary biology, a gifted illustrator, and a mythology maven as they explore the truth behind some of the world's most renowned creatures."
The pair will take over for recently launched occupants "Mary Knows Best" and "Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files," which wrap their respective seasons on August 19.
Season two of "WCG Ultimate Gamer," which bows Thursday, August 19 at 11:00/10:00c, will continue in the late-night slot through September.
As for the rest of Syfy's fall lineup, the network previously announced its Friday dramas will shift to Tuesday nights once "Friday Night SmackDown" joins its schedule on October 1.
Early indications are that "Warehouse 13" will conclude its second season on Tuesday, September 21 after 12 episodes (its 13th is being held as a holiday special for December) with new seasons of "Stargate Universe" and "Sanctuary" likely taking over on September 28.
An announcement on that front is expected during Comic-Con next week.
