LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- NBC has commissioned 24 additional episodes of its hit game show "Minute to Win It."
Said order, which has been confirmed to the site exclusively, brings its series total to 42 episodes.
"Minute" has averaged just under 6.50 million viewers and a 2.0 rating among adults 18-49 since rejoining the Peacock's lineup last month. Next week marks a special three-night stunt of the series, with originals airing on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday - all at 8:00/7:00c.
A mix of repeats and originals will continue on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for the rest of the summer, leaving over a dozen installments as potential midseason filler for the network.
Universal Media Studios and Friday Television are behind the series, which is executive produced by Craig Plestis, Tim Puntillo, Mattias Olsson and Jock Millgardh.
