San Francisco - September 15, 2010 - CBS.com announced the launch of its SURVIVOR: NICARAGUA online hub, featuring a wide variety of content geared toward the 21st season of CBS's hit reality series which premieres Wednesday, Sept. 15 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Fans can participate in a broad mix of new and popular returning online games that include exclusive video content, blogs and polls. The online hub offers fans an inside glimpse of SURVIVOR: NICARAGUA, plus the opportunity to win thousands of dollars in prize money and trips to Nicaragua and the season's finale taping.

New this season is a social networking game called "SURVIVOR Cyber Island" that lets fans recruit friends and form an online tribe to participate in tasks and challenges based on current and past SURVIVOR episodes. The winner of the "SURVIVOR Cyber Island" game will be awarded a grand prize of $5,000*.

Also new this season is the "SURVIVOR Ultimate Fan Contest," which gives fans the chance to earn points and badges for completing games, trivia, and interacting with other SURVIVOR fans. The contest features a grand prize of a trip to the season finale taping**. Fans can also enter for a chance to win a trip to Nicaragua by playing "SURVIVOR Fantasy"*** or win $10,000 by voting in the weekly "Player of the Week**** Sweepstakes."

Fans are also buzzing about James "Jimmy T." Tarantino, winner of the online "SURVIVOR Casting Call." The contest encouraged fans to submit videos of themselves explaining why they were the ultimate SURVIVOR for a chance to audition and be on the show. Jimmy's submission earned him the most votes, and he was selected by SURVIVOR as one of the coveted 20 castaways on this season's SURVIVOR: NICARAGUA.
