Animated Comedies to Be Hit Hardest by FOX's MLB Playoffs Coverage

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- Tonight marks the last original episodes of FOX's "Bones" and "Fringe" until November. Also missing in action until next month: the network's four animated comedies and "Hell's Kitchen."

Said developments are the result of FOX's MLB playoffs coverage, which begins this Saturday, October 16 with Game 1 of the NLCS and runs through - if necessary - Game 7 of the World Series on Thursday, November 4.

Here's a breakdown of how all of the network's series will be affected during the aforementioned period:

AMERICA'S MOST WANTED: October 16 (pre-empted by NLCS Game #1), October 23 (original episode scheduled; if no ALCS Game #7, NCLS Game #6 moves to prime and pre-empts this episode), October 30 (pre-empted by World Series Game #3)

AMERICAN DAD: October 17 (pre-empted for NLCS Game #2), October 24 (pre-empted for NLCS Game #7, two repeat episodes if no game), October 31 (pre-empted by World Series Game #4)
