NOVEMBER HIGHLIGHTS: HEROIC HEROES MONTH

BBC AMERICA honors Heroic Heroes this month with a two-day, four-movie display of bravery. The heroics begin on Saturday, with Robin Hood boldly stealing from the rich and giving to Nottingham's poor in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. After that, Clive Owen takes his turn as the title character in the BBC AMERICA premiere of King Arthur, and Sir Patrick Stewart tackles the lofty mission of saving planet Earth in Star Trek Nemesis. Finally, Jude Law must stop a world domination plot in the BBC AMERICA premiere of the groundbreaking sci-fi action flick Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow.

KING ARTHUR - BBC AMERICA PREMIERE

Clive Owen and Keira Knightley star in this historically-based telling of the timeless legend, hailed as the most realistic portrayal of King Arthur ever seen on screen. In this version, Arthur and his fellow Knights of the Round Table are actually warriors from the Middle East fighting for the Roman Empire in Britain. After fifteen years in the Army, the Knights are promised their freedom if they can complete one final and extremely dangerous mission. King Arthur premieres Saturday, November 6, 5:00p.m. ET/PT.

SKY CAPTAIN AND THE WORLD OF TOMORROW - BBC AMERICA PREMIERE

Jude Law, Michael Gambon, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Angelina Jolie highlight a star-studded cast in this groundbreaking sci-fi action movie. When a reporter in New York City (Paltrow) discovers a connection between a giant robot attack on her city and a series of kidnappings of scientists around the world, she employs the help of her ex-boyfriend, Sky Captain Joe Sullivan (Law), the leader of a roguish independent air force, to help her track down the mastermind behind these events and foil his fiendish plans for world domination. Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow premieres Sunday, November 7, 4:30p.m. ET/PT.

ROBIN HOOD: PRINCE OF THIEVES

A classic adventure film starring Alan Rickman, Kevin Costner and Morgan Freeman re-tells the story of Robin Hood and the outlaws. STUNTS:

EXTRA WHO MARATHON

You think you've seen all the Doctor Who there is to see? Think again. This Saturday, BBC AMERICA brings you a marathon of every single episode from the most recent season of the show plus exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from the newly-released DVD box set. Short of catching a ride somewhere on the TARDIS, this is the most Doctor Who you could get. Extra Who Marathon airs all day Saturday, November 13.

LUTHER MARATHON

Idris Elba (The Wire) is John Luther, an intellectually brilliant but emotionally impulsive detective tormented by the darker side of humanity. Starting at noon on Sunday, catch up on the first five episodes of Luther to prepare for the thrilling season finale that night at 10:00p.m. As he tracks down serial killers and sociopaths, the stakes grow ever higher and more personal for Detective John Luther. TREKSGIVING

When you count the many blessings you're thankful for this year, be sure to remember Star Trek: The Next Generation on BBC AMERICA.
