HOT FROM FOX...
SAVE SOME ROOM FOR LAUGHS THIS THANKSGIVING NIGHT WITH THE WORLD BROADCAST PREMIERE OF "THE SIMPSONS MOVIE" THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 25, ON FOX
This year, spend Thanksgiving with the first family of Springfield during the World Broadcast Premiere of THE SIMPSONS MOVIE airing Thursday, Nov. 25 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
In the film based on the hit FOX series, which grossed more than $525 million at the box office, HOMER (Dan Castellaneta) must save the world from a catastrophe he helped create. It all begins with his new pet pig, "Spider Pig," and a leaky silo full of droppings - a combination that triggers a disaster the likes of which Springfield has never experienced. As MARGE (Julie Kavner) is outraged by her husband's monumental blunder, a vengeful mob descends on the Simpson household. Homer, Marge, BART (Nancy Cartwright), LISA (Yeardley Smith) and MAGGIE make a narrow escape, but are soon divided by both location and conflict. As the fates of Springfield and the world hang in the balance, Homer embarks on a personal odyssey of redemption - seeking forgiveness from Marge, the reunion of his family and the salvation of his hometown. Will Homer be able to save the world and his family before it's too late?
"At long last, the world will have an opportunity to see the Simpsons on FOX," said Homer Simpson.
Now the longest-running comedy series in television history, THE SIMPSONS immediately struck a chord with viewers across the country as it poked fun of itself and everything in its wake. With its subversive humor and delightful wit, the series has made an indelible imprint on American pop culture, and the family members have become television icons. The series, which airs Sundays (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX, features the voice talents of Dan Castellaneta, Julie Kavner, Nancy Cartwright, Yeardley Smith, Hank Azaria and Harry Shearer.
THE SIMPSONS MOVIE is produced by James L. Brooks, Matt Groening, Al Jean, Mike Scully and Richard Sakai in association with 20th Century Fox and Gracie Films. The movie was directed by David Silverman.
