HGTV OFFERS NEW SERIES AND RETURNING FAVORITES ON NEW YEAR'S DAY
Knoxville, Tenn. [For Immediate Release--December 9, 2010] HGTV celebrates the beginning of 2011 with a cavalcade of entertaining programming, including two new series, five new specials and fresh episodes of returning favorites. The excitement begins with HGTV's live and commercial-free coverage of the 122nd Tournament of Roses Parade(R) in Pasadena, Calif. Next, viewers are whisked to scenic Stowe, Vermont for a tour of the newest HGTV Dream Home. Cash & Cari, a new weekly show that features antiques dealer extraordinaire Cari Cucksey joins the network's lineup, as does Candice Tells All--the highly anticipated series featuring designer Candice Olson. Viewer favorites, Selling New York and Dear Genevieve, return with new episodes.

Rose Parade 2011
Airs Saturday, January 1, at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT
The day begins with HGTV's live and commercial-free coverage of the 122nd Tournament of Roses Parade(R) in Pasadena, Calif. HGTV's Jamie Durie (The Outdoor Room) and designer Sabrina Soto (Real Estate Intervention) will join veteran television producer/host Robb Weller to provide knowledgeable perspective on the parade's magnificent floral floats. DIY's Ahmed Hassan (Yard Crashers) will be stationed street-side to keep home viewers posted on the status of their favorite float as it travels along the parade route. The network also will introduce the first HGTV float--a replica of the 2011 HGTV Dream Home featuring appearances by network stars Antonio Ballatore (The Antonio Treatment), John Gidding (Curb Appeal: The Block) and Emily Henderson (Secrets From A Stylist).
HGTV Dream Home 2011

The 2011 HGTV Dream Home, located at the Stowe Mountain Resort, is a custom-designed home that blends rustic mountain appeal with modern architecture. Created with the bold, innovative ideas that make HGTV Dream Homes so exciting and unique, it includes three bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms and a gourmet kitchen. The spectacular home site is nestled near magnificent Mt. Mansfield with its breathtaking scenery and invigorating outdoor activities. During the winter, visitors and homeowners alike can snowshoe, snowmobile, ride horses, take sleigh rides, and of course, ski. In warmer months, they can canoe, kayak, fish, hike and view fall foliage.
Cash & Cari

In each episode of the weekly series Cash & Cari, HGTV follows antiques dealer extraordinaire, Cari Cucksey, as she searches for hidden treasures at estate sales and flea markets, as well as in dusty attics and cluttered garages. Whether it's a vintage Chanel gown left behind at the dry cleaners, a limited-edition pink vinyl copy of Michael Jackson's Thriller or a Capodimonte porcelain statuette, Cari is always on the lookout for an undiscovered diamond in the rough that she can restore and sell.
Selling New York

HGTV's House Hunters: Million Dollar Homes searches the globe for the most spectacular estates that money can buy. From the historic streets of Savannah, Georgia, to the lush jungles of Costa Rica, these house hunters will spare no expense to find the perfect place. RV 2011

During HGTV's RV 2011 one-hour special, host Chi-Lan Lieu will check out the most luxurious, over-the-top coaches, trailers and toy haulers in the land. On location at America's largest RV show in Hershey, Penn., Chi-Lan also will tour the coolest new high-tech and eco-friendly recreational vehicles and follow three families who are on the hunt for the perfect RV.

HGTV's Million Dollar Rooms will offer an all-access pass to ten of the most expensive rooms in the world. This one-hour special will tour spectacular one-of-a-kind spaces, including a home with a $2 million dollar pool in the living room and a $6 million dollar home theater.

Designer Candice Olson, host of the long-popular Divine Design and judge on HGTV Design Star, will deliver the awe-inspiring transformations that viewers have come expect in her new show Candice Tells All--but this time she will pull back the curtain to reveal how she creates her impressive designs. During each episode, Candice will share underlying design principles that can be applied to any space and uncover a home's true potential.
Dear Genevieve
Fourth season premieres Saturday, January 1, at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT
Airs regularly on Saturdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT beginning January 8
Designer Genevieve Gorder offers down to earth advice to real people who have fallen out of love with their home. The new season features Genevieve as she undertakes an elegant and eco-friendly living room, a makeover for a mid-century kitchen and a new bathroom inspired by traditional Turkish bathhouses. In each episode she delves into viewer-submitted emails that request her expert advice.
