Hit Series Searching for More Contestants Beginning This Saturday (February 19) in Minneapolis Followed by Denver (February 26), Salt Lake City (March 5), Nashville (March 12) and Orlando (March 12)

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - February 18, 2011 - NBC's "Minute to Win It" (Wednesdays, 8-10 p.m. ET) features courageous mountain climber Aron Ralston, the inspiration for the Oscar(R)-nominated film "127 Hours," Los Angeles Lakers Derek Fisher and Shannon Brown and "Jackass" stars Steve-O and Ryan Dunn to compete on the show for their favorite charities.

The hit series continues to search for potential contestants beginning this Saturday, February 19, in Minneapolis, followed by casting calls in Denver on Saturday, February 26; Salt Lake City on Saturday, March 5; and Nashville and Orlando on Saturday, March 12.

Mountain climber Ralston, the famous survivor who inspired the Oscar(R)-nominated film "127 Hours," will compete for the non-profit organization Wilderness Workshop on Wednesday, February 23 (8-10 p.m. ET). Likewise, two-time NBA champions Fisher and Brown of the Los Angeles Lakers team up to win money for their respective charities -- the University of Arkansas Foundation Inc., and the Shannon Brown Foundation. Their episode airs on Wednesday, March 16 (8-10 p.m. ET).

The stars of "Jackass," Steve-O and Dunn, team up on to play for their respective charities - National Down Syndrome Congress and The Teammates for Kids Foundation - which is scheduled to air in May. On their way to the million-dollar prize, every amount earned at each round will go to their charities.

"Minute to Win It," hosted by All-American chef and television personality Guy Fieri, features competitors participating in a series of simple, yet nerve-wracking, games that can lead to a $1 million prize. In each one-hour episode, competitors face 10 challenges that escalate in level of difficulty using everyday household items. Each game has a one-minute time limit and failure to finish the task on time will eliminate the contestant.At various points throughout the game, the competitor can walk away with the money earned up to that point - but it'll take nerves of steel to complete all 10 tasks to win $1 million."Minute to Win It" is produced by Universal Media Studios with Friday Television.
