OXYGEN PRESENTS WORLD PREMIERE OF "THE GLEE PROJECT'S" FIREWORK MUSIC VIDEO DURING "GLEE" MARATHON ON MAY 21
Oxygen Airs Second "Gleekend" Marathon on Saturday, May 21 from 10am-11pm ET/PT
NEW YORK - May 18, 2011 - The wait is over! After months of anticipation, Oxygen will reveal the world premiere of "The Glee Project's" first music video "Firework" during the 9pm hour of the "Prom Queen" episode of its "Glee" marathon on Saturday, May 21. After a record breaking first "Glee" marathon, which reached over four million viewers, "Glee" returns to Oxygen with a second "Gleekend" on Saturday, May 21 from 10am-11pm ET/PT.
The world premiere of the "Firework" music video will give viewers a closer look at the 12 contenders of Oxygen's upcoming competition series, "The Glee Project," showcasing their unique personalities and talents. Katy Perry's hit single is the first main challenge in the series that will help determine the fate of one of these contenders.
Oxygen's "Gleekend" will get viewers caught up on episodes from season two of "Glee," including "Born This Way," "Silly Love Songs" and "Prom Queen," leading into the "Glee" season two finale, Tuesday, May 24 on Fox. "The Glee Project" will premiere on Sunday, June 12 at 9pm ET/PT on Oxygen.
Additionally, during the "Gleekend" on May 21, fans can log on to www.OxygenLive.com at 9:30pm ET for a chat with "Glee" and "The Glee Project" casting director Robert Ulrich.
