truTV's Hit Series "Hardcore Pawn" Returns with 2.1 Million Viewers as Network Greenlights Fifth Season
truTV's Hardcore Pawn, an eye-opening look at one of the world's largest pawn shops, launched its fourth season last night with two new episodes scoring an outstanding 2.1 million viewers. The night's first new episode of Hardcore Pawn chalked up 1,906,000 viewers at 9 p.m. (ET/PT), an audience that grew to 2,236,000 viewers for the 9:30 p.m. episode. Hardcore Pawn performed particularly well among young adults, averaging 816,000 adults 18-49 for the first episode, growing to more than 1 million adults 18-49 for the second episode. On the heels of last night's success, truTV announced that it has ordered a 13-episode fifth season of Hardcore Pawn, slated to begin later this year.

Produced by Zodiak USA, Hardcore Pawn debuted in August 2010 with truTV's biggest series launch ever and quickly became one of the network's most popular shows. The series holds the record for truTV's most-watched telecast ever among men 18-34 and men 18-49, which it set on Jan. 11, 2011. Hardcore Pawn consistently ranks among basic cable's Top 5 programs in its time period with key adult and male demos.
