MEDIA ALERT
MARK BURNETT TO TWEET LIVE ON THE WEST COAST TO OFFER COMMENTARY AND BEHIND-THE-SCENES ANECDOTES FOR THIS WEEK'S EPISODE OF ABC'S "EXPEDITION IMPOSSIBLE," THURSDAY, JULY 21 AT 9:00 P.M.
Mark Burnett will be up on Twitter at @MarkBurnettTV on Thursday, July 21 from 9:00-10:00 p.m., Pacific Time, during the west coast broadcast of "Expedition Impossible," to offer commentary on the exciting action taking place, as well as behind-the-scenes anecdotes.
On Thursday's episode, "A Blind Man's Nightmare," beaten down and battered by Stage 4's High Atlas Mountains, the California Girls struggle to rappel 300 feet down a dangerous waterfall, Eric from No Limits wades waist-deep through a treacherous river canyon they've coined "blind man's purgatory," and the Football Players bare it all to master the Moroccan art of Henna.
Featuring high adventure and human drama, "Expedition Impossible" follows 13 teams of 3, racing in a fun expedition across vast deserts, over snow capped mountains and through raging rivers in the beautifully exotic, fabled kingdom of Morocco. Each week a new stage of the expedition will be revealed to the teams. Will they crumble under the pressure of having to think clearly in the wilds of the great outdoors, or will they find a way to work together to complete their adventures? And if one person quits, the entire team is eliminated. After 10 stunning legs of competition with drama, comedy and great characters, one team will cross the finish line first to claim victory. Each winning team member will receive $50,000 ($150,000 total for the team) as well a new Ford Explorer.
Adventurer, zoologist, big cat trainer and all around risk taker Dave Salmoni hosts the show.
"Expedition Impossible" is executive produced by Mark Burnett. Both the television show and format will be distributed internationally by Mark Burnett International Distribution.
