TV GUIDE NETWORK ANNOUNCES "HOLLYWOOD MOMS' CLUB" STARRING ALISON SWEENEY AND ALI LANDRY JOINED BY A GROUP OF STAR STUDDED GUESTS
New Original Series in Development Follows an Exclusive Circle of Real-Life Celebrity Moms as They Dish about Their Lives, Careers and Families over Dinner
LOS ANGELES (July 25, 2011) - TV Guide Network will give fans an exclusive, intimate look at Hollywood's hottest moms through a new original television series in development, "Hollywood Moms' Club." Led by Alison Sweeney ("The Biggest Loser") and Ali Landry ("Eve"), "Hollywood Moms' Club" is based on a real-life mom's club started by Sweeney and Landry ("The Ali's") in which they get their celebrity gal pals together for themed dinner parties packed with interesting food, racy conversation and Hollywood dish. Guest moms will appear in each episode and Denise Richards ("Blue Mountain State") will guest star in the pilot episode. TV Guide Network will air the pilot episode of "Hollywood Moms' Club" in November 2011.
"Alison Sweeney and I started a supper club and invited our favorite celebrity mom friends, including Denise Richards, Brooke Burke, Nancy O'Dell, Holly Robinson Peete, Candace Cameron Bure, Kyle Richards and Lisa Rinna," said Ali Landry. "We get together at each other's homes once a month for dinner, and they always lead to fun, unexpected moments and candid conversations between great friends."
"Our 'Moms' Club' has become one of the most highly anticipated nights on our social calendars," Alison Sweeney added. "It's an opportunity to exchange personal stories about our lives, careers and families. Our conversations are raw and uncensored - no topic is off-limits! Ali's pregnant, Denise just adopted a baby girl and we're working on the rest of the guest list right now! This is going to be a hot dinner. Can't wait!"
"Hollywood Moms' Club" follows a real group of celebrity moms as they meet for a pot-luck dinner at each other's homes and share intimate stories over a meal. Every dinner party is themed to define what dish each guest will bring, as well as their attire and the dinner table dcor. Viewers will get a seat at one of Hollywood's most sought-after dinner parties among an exclusive circle of celebrity friends and see a side of these women not usually seen by their fans.
"Hollywood Moms' Club" will be produced by Ellen Rakieten Entertainment, a production company founded by the former executive producer of The Oprah Winfrey Show, and RelativityREAL. Landry and Sweeney will also serve as executive producers.
