GATEWAY (TNT) - Bruce C. McKenna and Danny Cannon have booked a cast-contingent pilot order from the cable channel for the period drama, about the Colorado town of the same name. The Warner Horizon Television-based hour, set in the 1880s, will follow "three brothers who step in to save their town when their sheriff father is murdered, pitting them against a corrupt cattle baron determined to make the town his own." Cannon will direct from a script by McKenna with Deran Serafian also executive produce alongside the duo. (Deadline.com)

GORILLA TIME (FOX, New!) - Stacy Traub ("Notes From the Underbelly") and Hayes Jackson ("According to Jim") have booked a new single-camera comedy at the network about "a group of friends in their mid thirties who've each hit a crossroads in their lives and embark on the adventure of trying to reinvent themselves [by] eating what they want, drinking what they want and sleeping with who they want, basically like a gorilla." Shawn Levy and Marty Adelstein's 20th Century Fox Television-based 21 Laps/Adelstein Productions is behind the project which they'll also executive produce alongside Becky Clements. (Deadline.com)

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (CBS) - Stephen Lloyd has inked a new two-year overall deal with 20th Century Fox Television. (Deadline.com)

THE JONESES (ABC, New!) - "Life Unexpected" alums Liz Tigelaar, Gary Fleder and Mary Beth Basile are developing a small screen take on Derrick Borte's 2009 film starring Demi Moore and David Duchovny about a seemingly perfect family that are actually "guns-for-hire cast to play family members and do stealth product marketing among their neighbors." Tigelaar will presumably pen the script and executive produce alongside director Fleder and his producing partner Basile. ABC Studios and Echo Lake Productions are co-producing. (Deadline.com)

LA INK (TLC) - The cable channel is set to wrap the veteran reality series after four seasons. "TLC has decided that the current season of LA Ink will be its last," the network said in a statement to RadarOnline.com. "The network is proud of what the series has accomplished in its four seasons, following Kat Von D's journey as an artist from Miami to Los Angeles." The show's de facto series finale airs Thursday, September 15 at 10:00/9:00c. (RadarOnline.com)

THE SINGLES (ABC, New!) - David Holden ("Accidentally on Purpose") has booked a semi-autobiographical comedy at the Alphabet about "when his entire family were all single... all at the same time." The single-camera comedy, which has a penalty attached should it not go to pilot, comes from Neal Moritz and Vivian Cannon's Sony Pictures Television-based Original Film with Holden writing and serving as a co-executive producer. (Deadline.com)

UNTITLED NIGEL LYTHGOE PROJECT (The CW, New!) - The ever-busy Nigel Lythgoe ("American Idol," "So You Think You Can Dance") is developing a new singing competition for the netlet, which "would focus on finding the next big family singing group" a la the Partridge Family. It's understood the Orly Adelson-led Dick Clark Productions is in talks to co-produce the project, which is still in the early stages of development. (TVGuide.com)

UNTITLED SARAH SILVERMAN PROJECT (NBC, New!) - The proposed Sarah Silverman-led comedy has found a home at the Peacock with a hefty put pilot commitment. The single-camera comedy "stars the comedian as a woman readjusting to the single life after a decade-long live-in relationship." She'll pen the half-hour alongside fellow "The Sarah Silverman Program" alums Dan Sterling and Jon Schroeder. 20th Century Fox Television-based Imagine Television is producing with said principals Ron Howard, Brian Grazer and Francie Calfo executive also executive producing. (Deadline.com)

UNTITLED STEVE HARVEY PROJECT (Syndication, New!) - NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution and Endemol USA are developing a syndicated talk show featuring the comedian-turned-"Family Feud" host.
