Never Before Seen Episodes From the U.K., Australia and South Africa to Air on Chiller Beginning October 1, 2011

NEW YORK - August 31, 2011 - Chiller has acquired the exclusive U.S. television broadcast rights to all English language versions of Fear Factor, it was announced today by Thomas Vitale, Executive Vice President of Programming and Original Movies, Syfy and Chiller. Chiller, which already has repeat broadcast rights to the American version of the show, acquired the international editions from Endemol Worldwide Distribution and now holds U.S. exclusive rights to all currently existing English language versions and episodes of the hit series for the next 3 years. The South African (43 episodes), U.K. (26 episodes) and Australian (7 episodes) versions of the series will begin airing on October 1, 2011.

Fear Factor is a chill-inducing reality competition show, where contestants are pitted against each other in a variety of hair-raising challenges and stunts to win a grand prize. Re-broadcasts of the American version of Fear Factor premiered on Chiller on July 24, 2010, and reached over 3 million unduplicated viewers in its first month. The series has become Chiller's highest rated series to-date, averaging 73,000 Adults18-49 and 86,000 Adults 25-54 in prime.
