666 PARK AVENUE (ABC, New!) - Gabriella Pierce's book series is the latest Alloy Entertainment property looking to make the leap to the small screen. David Wilcox ("Fringe") is penning the potential drama, about "an innocent couple from the midwest that moves to New York and gets hired to be resident managers of a building on the Upper East Side [where] unbeknownst to the couple, the residents have all unwittingly made deals with the Devil to have their deepest needs, ambitions and desires fulfilled." Alloy's Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo will executive produce alongside Wilcox for Warner Bros. Television. (THR.com)
COURTROOM 302 (ABC) - Noah Hawley ("My Generation") has been tapped to take over the drama, an adaptation of Steve Bogira's book about Chicago's Cook County Criminal Courthouse, the busiest felony courthouse in the country. Steven Maeda previously spearheaded the project, which comes from ABC Studios and the studio-based Mark Gordon. (THR.com)
MURDER SEASON (ABC, New!) - Moira Kirland ("Castle") has sold a potential hour to the Alphabet about "a gifted but troubled female FBI profiler [who] while working with an elite team to catch the country's worst criminals, struggles to hide a dark secret from her past." Laurie Zaks is also executive producing the ABC Studios-based drama alongside Kirland. (Deadline.com)
SAFEHOUSE (ABC, New!) - Chris Hollier ("Poe") has booked a drama at the Alphabet about "a young, brash CIA agent who joins a crew of agency professionals, headed by his long-estranged superspy mother." ABC Studios is behind the potential hour which Vendetta's Sheldon Turner and Jennifer Klein will executive produce alongside Hollier. (Deadline.com)
SLEEPERS (CBS, New!) - Jessica Goldberg ("Refuge") has landed a script commitment from the Eye for a new drama about "a woman who has the gift to save people who are caught somewhere between life and death." Sony Pictures Television is behind the hour, which former Columbia Pictures chief Matt Tolmach ("The Amazing Spider-Man") will executive produce alongside Goldberg. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED JOSH GAD PROJECT (NBC, New!) - Josh Gad ("The Daily Show With Jon Stewart") has sold "a high-concept comedy about a family on the road" to the Peacock. The untitled half-hour is set up at Universal Television-based Gary Sanchez Productions with the company's Adam McKay and Owen Burke executive producing alongside Gad, who will pen the script. UNTITLED SAM RAIMI/SARAH THORP PROJECT (CBS, New!) - Sarah Thorp ("Hawthorne") has booked a potential drama at the Eye about "a female FBI agent who is placed undercover in a St. Louis homicide unit to solve murders while investigating her own precinct for corruption." She'll write and executive produce the hour alongside Sam Raimi, his producing partner Josh Donen and Eric Roth for Sony Pictures Television. (Deadline.com)
VIRTUAL VIRGIN (ABC, New!) - Keith Merryman and David Newman has landed a script order from the Alphabet for a new comedy about "a woman who is dating in the age of technology with the advice of her close friends and family." Said half-hour comes from ABC Studios and the prolific Mark Gordon, who will executive produce alongside the duo and his comedy chief Andrea Shay. (THR.com)
THE WATCHERS (ABC, New!) - Bestselling novelist Nicholas Sparks has sold a potential drama to the Alphabet about "a fallen angel looking for his mortal love." Kristin Hahn will co-write the hour alongside Sparks for ABC Studios with Temple Hill's Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey also serving as executive producers. Theresa Park, Sparks' agent, will also receive a producing credit. The news marks Sparks's first original TV sale. (Deadline.com)
