FAMILY FEUD (Syndication) - Distributor Debmar-Mercury and producer FremantleMedia North America have cleared the veteran game show through 2015 on stations covering more than 75% of the country. Steve Harvey hosts the latest incarnation, which has posted significant year-to-year gains in households (35%) and women 25-54 (40%). In addition, going forward the series will be shot in high definition. (Deadline.com)


THE MANZANIS (ABC) - Michael Rispoli and Robert Costanzo have both been cast in the Kirstie Alley-led comedy pilot, about "an opinionated wife/mother who, along with her Italian American husband, and their three kids moves to a quiet New Jersey neighborhood where they clash with their new, WASPy neighbors." Rispoli will play the husband, Nick, with Constanzo as his father, Joe. They join the previously cast Rhea Perlman, who plays Nick's mother, Camille. Marco Pennette and Dave Flebotte are behind the ABC Studios-based half-hour with JoAnn Alfano, Aaron Kaplan and Jason Weinberg also serving as executive producers. (Deadline.com)


UNTITLED GRACE PARRA PROJECT (MTV, New!) - Grace Parra ("Work It") has booked a potential comedy at the cable channel about Lina Molina, "a recent NYU grad who, because of a dire economy and grim job prospects, is forced to return home to suburban Texas to her eccentric Mexican family." Jennifer Lopez's Nuyorican Productions is behind the half-hour, which Parra will write and executive produce alongside Lopez, Simon Fields and Benny Medina with Brent Haynes overseeing the project for the network.
