New Series Title Star/Talk-Show Host Chelsea Handler and Correspondent Ross Matthews Will Serve as the Competition Judges
BURBANK, Calif. - November 23, 2011 -- NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" is offering its all-military audience at tonight's show (November 23) an opportunity to win a guest role on the new network comedy "Are You There, Chelsea?" Each branch of the military will be given an audition and the best performance will win a cameo role in an upcoming episode of "Are You There, Chelsea?"
Series title star Chelsea Handler -- along with "Tonight Show" correspondent Ross Matthews -- will serve as the judges for the competition.
Tonight's episode marks the 11th time that the "Tonight Show" has dedicated its entire audience to U.S. armed forces personnel. Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard and the band Gloriana - which will perform "Soldier Song" -- will also join Leno. The show also has planned some surprises for its special guests.

Cummings and Handler Team Up With Leno To Give One Lucky Member of The All Military Audience a Walk-on Role on Their NBC Shows
In a last minute change of plans, Chelsea Handler tweets her good friend Whitney Cummings to take her spot on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" (Monday-Friday, 11:35 p.m. ET).

The two teamed up with Leno to give out a walk-on role on their NBC shows "Whitney" and "Are You There, Chelsea?" to a lucky member of the special all military audience.
