10 Hilarious Ads Vie for Top Spot as Isaiah Mustafa Hosts TBS's "Funniest Commercials of the Year: 2011" Dec. 14
As the year comes to a close, TBS is ready to celebrate the most hilarious commercials to hit the television screen over the past 12 months in Funniest Commercials of the Year: 2011. Former professional football player, actor and ad sensation Isaiah Mustafa will return for his second year as host of the countdown special, which is set to premiere Wednesday, Dec. 14, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), exclusively on TBS.
Funniest Commercials of the Year: 2011 will be packed with commercials from around the world, many being shown for the first time on American television. Over the past month, fans have been watching the 10 finalists and voting for their favorites online at TBS's VeryFunnyAds.com. All 10 finalists will be presented during Funniest Commercials of the Year, with the winning commercial unveiled at the end.

Mustafa is a former professional football player whose acting career has included roles in such movies as The Island, Madea's Big Happy Family and Horrible Bosses. He has also guest-starred on such series as Hot in Cleveland, Chuck, Castle, NCIS, Eli Stone and Ugly Betty.
Since 2004, TBS has presented the Funniest Commercials of the Year specials each December. In 2006, TBS launched the enormously popular VeryFunnyAds.com, where fans can watch their favorite funny commercials from around the world. TBS's Funniest Commercials of the Year: 2011 is produced by Robert Dalrymple Productions in conjunction with IMG Media. Robert Dalrymple and Steve Mayer serve as executive producers.
Dalrymple is a Peabody and Emmy(R)-winning television producer whose most recent productions include Super Bowl's Greatest Commercials, for CBS in conjunction with IMG Media; the American Cinematheque Specials, for TNT and AMC; and Showtime's adaptation of Sam Sheppard's True West. He also co-founded and executive-produced the Screen Actors Guild Awards(R) for NBC and TNT.
Dalrymple is perhaps best known for Billy Joel's tour in Russia, Billy Crystal's first comedy special from Russia and the CBS production of pianist Vladimir Horowitz's return to Moscow after 62 years. He won Emmys for Free to Be a Family and a documentary on Itzhak Perlman's tour of Russia, and was nominated for The King & I - Recording a Hollywood Dream. His television movies include Howard Hughes - His Woman and His Movies, Shame, Baby Brokers and A Christmas Romance.
