BROOKE BURNS, DYLAN BRUNO AND STACEY KEIBLER STAR IN "FIXING PETE," A HALLMARK CHANNEL ORIGINAL MOVIE WORLD PREMIERE JANUARY 7

CO-STARRING Four-time Emmy(R) winner VALERIE HARPER AND two-time Emmy(R) nominee JOHN RATZENBERGER

When an emerging fashion editor and notorious perfectionist, is assigned to makeover a disheveled and famously immature sports writer, it's going to take a little more than a shave and a haircut to mesh their two worlds in "Fixing Pete," a Hallmark Channel Original Movie World Premiere Saturday, January 7 (9p.m. ET/PT, 8C). Brooke Burns ("Melrose Place"), Dylan Bruno, ("Numb3rs") and Stacey Keibler ("Dancing With the Stars") join four-time Emmy(R) winner Valerie Harper ("Rhoda"), two-time Emmy(R) nominee John Ratzenberger ("Cheers") and Charlie Schlatter ("Diagnosis Murder") in an all-star romantic comedy.

Ashley Boyd's (Burns) career as a fashion editor is on the rise and her relationship with her boyfriend could not be more perfect. Conquering a handful of televised makeovers for women, Ashley has impressed her boss Nan (Harper) enough to earn her own column entitled "First Look." However, there is a caveat: Ashley must write her first set of articles about making over a guy, something she has never done. Uncomfortable with the assignment, Ashley is encouraged by her best friend Mandy (Keibler) to rise to the occassion especially when Ashley learns the intended subject is Pete Camden (Bruno), a notoriously chauvinistic sports writer whose best accessory is the ketchup stain on his torn sweatshirt. But when Pete won't commit to the project, afraid it will ruin his ultra-macho image, his boss Clayton (Ratzenberger) insists that an image makeover will be good for promoting Pete's new book and he is left no choice but to cooperate.

As Ashley chips away at Pete's macho exterior she realizes he is actually more than he appears to be and as Pete gets to know Ashley, he begins to see her letting go and having fun, realizing he may have misjudged her. While the two remain distant, their best friends Mandy and Marty (Schlatter) quickly see that though Ashley and Pete are not perfect individually, they are totally perfect together. Now if only the stubborn pair would realize the same before it is too late!

"Fixing Pete" is a MNG Films Ireland Production in association with Larry Levinson Productions. Larry Levinson is the executive producer. Randy Pope and Mary Callery are the co-executive producers. Erik Heiberg and Lincoln Lageson are the producers. Michael Grossman directed from a script by Larry Kase and Joel Ronkin.
