Below are detailed descriptions of the upcoming "True Life" episodes:

"TRUE LIFE PRESENTS: THE THERIOT FAMILY: THE RIOT IN THE BAYOU 2" Airs December 28 at 10:00PM The outrageous Theriot family is back for a second installment of "The Riot in the Bayou." Mama Tiff and her ragin'-Cajun kids stir up new troubles while navigating the rough waters of love and debauchery under the Louisiana sun. Sex, partying, and playing in the mud are a way of life for the Theriots, but their family bond comes under fire. This is the summer of new beginnings, and with this clan, anything's possible. "True Life Presents: The Theriot Family: The Riot in the Bayou 2" is Executive Produced by Rebecca Toth Diefenbach and Valerie Haselton of Sirens Media.

"TRUE LIFE PRESENTS: ON THE MAT" Airs Wednesday, January 4 at 10:00PM High School wrestling is like no other sport. Those who devote themselves to it often say a typical season falls somewhere in between torture and pure hell. At Lake Stevens High, with seven Washington state championships under their belt, an incredibly demanding coach, and a student body that expects them to win state every year, and the pressure's always on. Last year, the squad finished fourth - which was considered to be a disaster. This year, losing is not an option, so they're kicking it up a notch and doing everything possible to reclaim their title. "True Life Presents: On The Mat" was produced by Tollin Productions. Chris Pratt, Frederick Golding, and Mike Tollin are executive producers.

"TRUE LIFE: I CAN'T PLEASE MY PARENTS" Airs Wednesday, January 11 at 8:00PM In this episode viewers meet two young men who are trying to pursue their dreams without destroying their relationships with mom and dad in the process. Justin's traditional Persian parents have been pushing him to be a doctor for years, but Justin has his heart set on becoming a comedy writer. Carlos is hoping to support his daughter by making it big as a music producer and DJ. But his mother is insisting that he go to school and land steady work so he can start providing for his family now. Mom and dad want to call the shots - but do they really know best? "True Life: I Can't Please My Parents" is Executive Produced by Leigh Stieglitz of The Collective

"TRUE LIFE: I'M A CHUBBY CHASER" Airs Wednesday, January 11 at 9:00PM In a society that immortalizes six-pack abs, viewers will meet two young men with a preference for obese partners. Tee started dating big women after he got tired of heartache he encountered going out with their slimmer peers. He's found his dream girl but is starting to suspect she's not as drama-free as he'd hoped. Meanwhile, Justin loves the sense of security he gets from his super-sized boyfriend, Josh, but fears that his conservative parents will dismiss their relationship as a fetish. These self-proclaimed "chubby chasers" must overcome large hurdles in order to make their relationships work. "Ture Life: I'm A Chubby Chaser" is Executive Produced by Mike Cahill for Day Old Teeth

"TRUE LIFE: I HAVE DIABETES" Airs Wednesday, January 18 at 11:00PM On this episode of "True Life" you'll meet three young diabetics faced with the challenges of managing their condition. Kristyn is forced to move back in with her parents because her health care costs are spiraling out of control. Matthew is determined not to let the disease compromise his partying lifestyle at college - despite the fact that drinking alcohol is dangerous for diabetics. And Jen is finding it difficult to control her symptoms while pregnant -- which is putting her baby's life at risk. "True Life: I Have Diabetes" is Executive Produced by Patrick Holbert of Miscellaneous Media.

Since its first episode in 1998, True Life has provided a window into the struggles, hopes, and dreams of young people. Narrated solely by its characters, each episode documents the unusualand often remarkablecircumstances of real individuals facing a broad range of issues related to relationships, health, sex, drugs, money and more. "True Life" is Executive Produced by Dave Sirulnick, Marshall Eisen, Betsy Forhan and Jim Fraenkel of MTV.
