In the series, Jessie is nanny to the Ross Family and, while Jessie's first year in New York City has been full of opportunity and excitement, she has learned how much she relies on the support and advice of the kids in her care -- 13-year-old Emma, the biological child of the bunch, 10-year-old Indian adoptee Ravi, 12-year-old American adoptee Luke and seven-year-old African adoptee Zuri.
