SAM HUNTINGTON OF SYFY'S HIT SERIES "BEING HUMAN" WILL GUEST STAR ON "WAREHOUSE 13" THIS SEASON

NEW YORK - March 12, 2012 - Sam Huntington, star of Syfy's critically acclaimed hit series Being Human, will guest star during Warehouse 13's upcoming fourth season as jazz musician "Ethan."

Production is currently underway in Toronto, Canada.

Said Warehouse 13 executive producer Jack Kenny: "We love bringing other Syfy icons on to Warehouse 13... There's something they just "get" about the genre. People like Kate Mulgrew, Lindsay Wagner, Jaime Murray and Rene Auberjonois know that delicate balance we play between humor, drama and action. And Sam Huntington is a natural fit for us. Funny, charming, smart and compelling, he plays 'Ethan' -- a young jazz musician, desperate to leave his mark on the world of New Orleans jazz -- even if it means a great sacrifice."

Last season, Warehouse 13 was home to guest stars such as Rene Auberjonois, Neil Grayston, Anthony Michael Hall, Gareth David Lloyd, Kate Mulgrew, Jaime Murray, Sasha Roiz, Jeri Ryan, Faran Tahir, Alessandra Torresani, Lindsay Wagner, Ashley Williams and Steven Yeun.

On Being Human, Huntington plays the werewolf "Josh." Now in its sophomore season, the series airs Mondays at 9PM (ET/PT) and was recently renewed for a third season.

In season three, Warehouse 13 averaged 3.28 million total viewers, 1.6 million Adults 18-49 -- its most ever -- along with 1.7 million Adults 25-54 and a 2.5 HH rating, based on Live +7 data.

Following the powerful, two-hour season three finale, the team struggles in season four to come to terms with the destruction of the Warehouse and the tragic loss of Steve Jinks (Aaron Ashmore), Mrs. Frederic (CCH Pounder) and H.G. Wells (Jaime Murray).

The most successful series in Syfy history, Warehouse 13 follows a team of government agents who work at a massive, top-secret storage facility in windswept South Dakota which houses every strange artifact, mysterious relic, fantastical object and preternatural souvenir ever collected by the U.S. government. The Warehouse's caretaker Artie Nielsen (Saul Rubinek) charges Pete Lattimer (Eddie McClintock), Myka Bering (Joanne Kelly) and Claudia Donovan (Allison Scagliotti) with chasing down reports of supernatural and paranormal activity in search of new objects to cache at the Warehouse, as well as helping him to control the Warehouse itself. At the end of last season, the Warehouse was shockingly destroyed. What's next for the surviving members of the Warehouse 13 team?

Warehouse 13 is produced for Syfy by Universal Cable Productions. Jack Kenny (The Book of Daniel) is executive producer and showrunner.
