CELEBRITIES MAKE THEMSELVES AT HOME IN HGTV PRODUCTIONS
New York, N.Y. (For Immediate Release - April 16, 2012) HGTV extended production of Selling Spelling Manor with three one hour episodes that follow Candy Spelling after the sale of the Los Angeles mega mansion that she shared with her late husband Aaron, son, Randy and daughter, actress Tori Spelling. Slated to air in the fall, the new arc picks up the story as Candy renovates and designs the LA penthouse condo that she calls "Manor in the Sky." Her new gift wrapping room with a million dollar view, a "rose garden in the sky" and her search for an East Coast home in New York City are just a few of the visual treats that will have viewers asking for more Candy.
HGTV also has picked up 13 additional episodes of Celebrities at Home featuring Emmy(R) Award-winning entertainment reporter and series executive producer Nancy O'Dell as she tours the homes of dozens of celebrities to reveal the design inspiration for their favorite living spaces. New episodes of Celebrities at Home will begin airing Tuesday, April 24, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
"We're seeing great success with shows that give viewers a unique perspective on the lifestyles of favorite pop culture stars," said Kathleen Finch, general manager, HGTV. "These shows are a fun look at the spectacular places they call home."
