BOUNCE TV TO PAY TRIBUTE TO DONNA SUMMER WITH "SOUL TRAIN" EPISODE AND FILM "THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY" ON FRI. MAY 18
ATLANTA (May 17, 2012) - Bounce TV (http://www.bouncetv.com), the nation's first and only broadcast television network for African Americans, will pay tribute to the legendary Donna Summer with "Bounce TV Remembers Donna Summer," featuring an episode of Soul Train and her film Thank God It's Friday this Friday, May 18 beginning at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time.
"Bounce TV Remembers Donna Summer" will feature her memorable Soul Train episode from 1976 in which she performs "Winter Melody" and "Spring Affair," as well as her role in the classic disco film Thank God It's Friday, which features the songs "Love to Love You Baby," "Try with Your Love," "Je T'aime," and "Last Dance."

Bounce TV launched September 26, 2011 and is already available in 75% of African American households and 60 million homes nationally. Bounce TV airs twenty four hours a day, seven days a week on the digital signals of local television stations. Martin Luther King III and Ambassador Andrew Young are among the Founding Group and Board of Directors of Bounce TV. Bounce TV is majority African American-owned. Bounce TV targets African Americans primarily between the ages of 25-54 with a programming mix of theatrical motion pictures, live sports, documentaries, specials, inspirational faith-based programs, off-net series and now original series. Live sports and events are part of the Bounce TV schedule, including both football and basketball games from the nation's largest African American athletic conference, the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA.)
