"AMERICA'S GOT TALENT" KICKS OFF LAS VEGAS WEEK ON MONDAY, JUNE 25TH
Live Shows To Premiere From The New York Tri-State Area On July 2nd
NEW YORK, NY - May 29, 2012 - NBC's top-rated summer series "America's Got Talent" will kick off its highly-anticipated Las Vegas audition shows on Monday, June 25th at 9 p.m. ET and includes a third night of Vegas performances for the first time in the show's history. The Las Vegas portion of the competition continues on Tuesday, June 26th at 9 p.m. and culminates in a two-hour episode on Wednesday, June 27th.
With the Top 48 determined after the Vegas audition shows, season seven live shows premiere from the New York Tri-State area on Monday, July 2nd at 9 p.m. ET with a two-hour episode. The one hour results show will air the next night beginning at 9 p.m. The following week, the show will move to its new nights, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, featuring a two-hour performance night on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET, followed by Wednesday's results show at 9 p.m. ET.
"America's Got Talent" began its nationwide search for this season's contestants with auditions in New York, St. Louis, Tampa, Los Angeles, Austin and San Francisco. Outspoken, unedited radio personality, television host and author Howard Stern, TV host and producer Howie Mandel and daytime TV host, reality producer and music manager Sharon Osbourne serve as judges. Actor, producer and comedian Nick Cannon hosts. The series is a true celebration of the American spirit, featuring a colorful array of hopeful stars, including singers, dancers, comedians, contortionists, impressionists, jugglers, magicians and ventriloquists, all vying for their chance to strut and perform on stage hoping to win America's hearts -- and the $1 million prize.
