"Conan" to Give Away Limited-Edition T-Shirts for "Conan Chicago Week," During TBS "Just for Laughs" Comedy Festival

TBS's Conan is set to give away thousands of free, fan-designed t-shirts when the Emmy(R)-nominated late-night series descends on Chicago for a week of shows June 11-14. Fans will be able to obtain free t-shirts using secret codes revealed during "Conan Chicago Week" episodes. The codes can be entered into vending machines located throughout Chicago or through a virtual vending machine at http//www.teamcoco.com/freeshirts. Conan O'Brien is bringing his show to The Chicago Theatre to kick off the 2012 edition of the TBS JUST FOR LAUGHS CHICAGO Comedy Festival.
The Conan limited-edition t-shirt giveaway is the latest opportunity for Team Coco to showcase some of the amazing artwork created by the show's fans. There are eight different t-shirts in the Chicago giveaway, four of which are available through the virtual vending machine online. The shirts are designed by a combination of Chicago artists and Conan fans. In addition, each of the 10 vending machines is wrapped in fan-created artwork.
Chicago-based t-shirt artists include Jason Cole, Aaron Wooten and Tom Torluemke. Conan fan artists are Patrick Giles (Montgomery, Ala.), Justin Orr (San Francisco, Calif.), Kristen Leigh (Burbank, Calif.), Arash Rod (San Francisco, Calif.) and Colby Swanstone (Kansas City, Mo.). Conan fan artists who designed vending machines include Korareefi (Ottowa, Canada), Leigh White (Chicago, Ill.), Dustin Resch (Denver, Colo.), Samantha Horn (New Orleans, La.), David Meister (Los Angeles, Calif.), Venus Lumayag (San Diego, Calif.), Luigi Lucarelli (Rosemead, Calif.), Kristen Leigh (Burbank, Calif.), Arash Rod (San Francisco, Calif.) and Colby Swanstone (Kansas City, Mo.).
T-shirts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis from 8 a.m. to noon Tuesday, June 12 - Friday, June 15. Fans must have the secret code revealed during the previous night's episode of Conan in order to obtain a t-shirt. The special vending machines will be located at Wrigley Field, Navy Pier, Union Station and The Chicago Theater, as well as on The Magnificent Mile and in The Loop. Each machine will be listed on Foursquare, giving fans a chance to check-in, share photos and tweets.
