NEW YORK, Aug. 9, 2012 -- They come armed with stilettos, feathers and sequins, prepared for a battle where one false move - or eyelash - could spell doom. They are the best-of-the-best, the top queens from "RuPaul's Drag Race" Seasons 1-4, and they're ready to lip-synch for their lives to determine which All-Star will walk away with $100K and a spot in the "Drag Race Hall of Fame." Join RuPaul as he welcomes back the most celebrated queens of the past for Logo's new series "RuPaul's All Stars Drag Race" -- the wildest, most jaw-dropping, and outrageous Drag Race yet. Comprised of six, one-hour episodes, "RuPaul's All Stars Drag Race" premieres Monday, October 22 at 9 PM ET/PT on Logo with a special "Rupersized" episode containing 10 bonus minutes. And don't forget to stay "tucked in" for a whole new season of backstage bitchiness with the premiere of companion series "Untucked: All Stars" immediately following "RuPaul's All Stars Drag Race" each week.
RuPaul declared, "Unlike other reality competition shows, when contestants leave 'RuPaul's Drag Race' they don't fade away, they become internationally famous performers. 'RuPaul's All Stars Drag Race' is the perfect new franchise for fans to fall in love all over again with some of the most talented and unforgettable queens."
The 12 queens entering the "RuPaul's Drag Race All Star" drag battle this season are: Pandora Boxx, Tammie Brown, Nina Flowers, Jujubee, Mimi Imfurst, Manila Luzon, Alexis Mateo, Chad Michaels, Raven, Latrice Royale, Shannel and Yara Sofia. Only one will walk out as the ultimate queen among queens.
And, as always, the Drag Race franchise has been synonymous with the coolest (and campiest) guest judges. "RuPaul's All Stars Drag Race" will not disappoint as it brings Rosie Perez, Ross Matthews, Rachel Hunter, Vickie Lawrence, Busy Phillips, Rachel Dratch, Janice Dickinson, Wendy McClendon-Covey, Elvira, Beth Ditto and Cheri Oteri to the guest judges table alongside RuPaul, Michelle Visage and Santino Rice. Together, they will decide who will "Shante! Stay!" or "Sashay Away."
In addition to securing a place in the "Drag Race Hall of Fame," the winner of "RuPaul's All Stars Drag Race" will walk away with a sickening supply of Mac Cosmetics, a one of kind trip courtesy of Al and Chuck dot travel, and a cash prize of one hundred thousand dollars.
