VH1 Keeps The Love Alive with Series Renewal for "Single Ladies," Summer's #1 Basic Cable Scripted Series with Women
Season Two Finale Airs Monday, August 27 at 9PM ET/PT
NEW YORK, Aug. 22, 2012 -- VH1 is giving hit scripted drama/comedy series "Single Ladies" a third season. The series, which has its second season finale on Monday, August 27 at 9PM,* has been averaging 3.2 million total viewers during premieres plus first encores, up 10% from season 1. Through its first 12 premiere episodes, Single Ladies is averaging a 1.4 P18-49 Live+SD rating, up 17% from season 1. It continues to be basic cable's #1 ad-supported regularly scheduled scripted show among women 18-49 over the course of the summer. Season 3 is set to premier later in 2013.
Season 2 of VH1's "Single Ladies" starred LisaRaye McCoy (Keisha), Denise Vasi (Raquel) and Charity Shea (April) as three best friends navigating the dating world in Atlanta. As the season ends, Keisha is forced make a decision between her former flame Sean and her on-again/off-again love Malcom."Good girl" Raquel is at a crossroads as childhood love Antonio (played by William Levy) has returned, but she also realizes that her heart may still belong to current flame Charles. Newly divorced April has started dating again and thinks she's found Mr. Right in new boyfriend Reggie, until his family drops a major bomb. "Single Ladies" is a modern, sexy series set in the world of Atlanta fashion, music, and celebrity that explores women's different approaches to relationships.

Season 2 guest appearances included: Paula Patton, La La Anthony, William Levy, T.I., Romeo, Lauren London, Michelle Van Der Water, Omar Gooding, Pilar Sanders, Rick Fox, Ricky Whittle, Tank, Tony Rock and executive producer Queen Latifah among others.
